The Medical Society, commonly known as "Med Soc", is the elected governing body of the more than 800 undergraduate medical students in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.

Our primary mandate is to maximize the student experience both inside and outside of the classroom. We act as the liaison between our students and the university, local, national and international community.

We facilitate communication between the different classes of our medical school. We coordinate events between the various healthcare and professional programs within the university. We represent the University of Toronto on provincial, national and international medical student and physician organizations. Our many activities are divided into portfolios, each headed by a junior and senior vice-president. As a whole, we are led by our president and the newly created position of president-elect.
